New Class Session in January...
Thai Chi w/ Mickey Kaiserman
Mickey will start teaching a Tai Chi Chuan - Yang Style class on Thursday nights at 7:00PM starting in January.
The class will be taught in a 10-week session providing a minimum of 5 students sign up. From there, the class may be repeated or may move on to allow Mickey to teach the next of three remaining parts of his Tai Chi Chuan series. Tai Chi Chuan is a progressive class and therefore will only be offered in sessions rather than on a drop-in basis. It requires more time to develop a practice and doesn't lend itself to occaisional study.
Tai Chi Chuan is a set of movements that is used for health, relaxation, meditation and self-defense. The regular practice of Tai Chi Chuan develops strength and flexibility of the joints, muscles and ligaments. It also enhances the cardiovascular system with a minimum of stress. Through the daily practice of Tai Chi Chuan, one learns to use the body more efficiently and can achieve greatest results with less effort. The practitioner has more energy to ward off illnesses and improve any sport through better body awareness.
Mickey Kaiserman has been teaching Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung for over 20 years. He is a student of Sifu Daniel Lee. He is teaching classes in Georgetown and Placerville and lives in El Dorado County.
To find out more information or to sign up, *please* contact Mickey.
