Okay, so we've been going back and forth trying to find a suitable time for both Drea and the students! Sept. 13th, Thursday from 6:30-8:30. Pease sign up soon because we need aminimum amount of students to bring out-of-area instructors. Class fee is $25 in advance for an intensive 2 hour class. The is an introductory class and is suitable for dancers with little or no experience. Drea will cover posture, counting, and steps.

 An Incredible Exerience...
When I spoke with Alice about her class to find out what it was all about, my first thought was "I need to take this class!". I finally got an opportunty and I'm hooked...I felt so much better and more free in my movements afterwards.
Alice calls it "Shakti Flow", and this is how she describes it: "Shakti" is power. Feminine in nature, it is the divine "spiritual electricity" that runs through our body, mind, and spirit. In this dynamic class for women, you will learn simple and efficient exercises to restore and maintain balance, flexibility and flow in your daily life using movement, breath work and meditation.
Come to class in comfotable, loose fitting clothes, all levels welcome. Class time is Friday mornings, 9:00-10:00am
Cost is $12 drop-in, $40-4 class card, $64-8 class card
About the instructor:
Alice Butler has been a student of the Healing Arts for the last 30 years. Her personal study and practice spans many disciplines and for this class Alice distills her favorite lessons into an accessible and simple format to share her knowledge with others. A certified massage therapist trained in Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy, Alice enjoys a practice in Coloma and Marin County. She has conducted workshops on meditation and stress reduction as well as Awareness Through Movement classes after completing her practitioner certificaton in the Feldenkrais Method in 2000.
